Xiaomi announced the device on September 1, 2026, and expects to release it in September 2026. Therefore, the Xiaomi Poco X8 currently carries a “coming soon” status.

Design and Build

The Xiaomi Poco X8 features a glass front with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, along with a plastic back and plastic frame. It measures 163.5 × 78.3 × 8.6 mm and weighs 223 grams.

Moreover, the phone supports dual Nano-SIM connectivity. It also offers IP68/IP69K protection against dust and water. In addition, Xiaomi rates the device for water resistance up to 2 meters for 72 hours and drop resistance up to 3 meters.
