The Xiaomi 18 Pro is a flagship smartphone that combines a powerful processor, advanced Leica cameras, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, and a large 7000 mAh battery. Xiaomi announced and released the phone on September 23, 2026. As a result, the device is now available.

Design and Build

The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a premium design with a glass front and aluminum frame. Xiaomi uses Dragon Crystal Glass 3 to protect the main display. The phone measures 151.8 × 72 × 8.5 mm and weighs 203 or 208 grams.

Moreover, the device supports dual Nano-SIM functionality. It also carries an IP68 rating, so it can handle dust and water immersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes.

Display

The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a 6.4-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the panel supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, BT.2020, and up to 4000 nits peak brightness.

The display offers a 1120 × 2436 pixel resolution and around 419 PPI density. In addition, Xiaomi uses 2160Hz PWM dimming for a more comfortable viewing experience.

Another standout feature is the 2.7-inch secondary AMOLED display on the rear. It also supports 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, BT.2020, and up to 4000 nits brightness.

Performance and Software

The Xiaomi 18 Pro runs Android 17 with HyperOS 4. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, which Qualcomm builds on a 2nm process.

Additionally, its octa-core CPU reaches speeds of up to 5GHz. The phone offers several memory configurations, including 256GB with 12GB RAM, 512GB with 12GB or 16GB RAM, and 1TB with 16GB RAM.

Furthermore, UFS 4.1 storage helps the device handle apps, games, and large files quickly. However, Xiaomi does not include a microSD card slot.

Camera

The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a triple rear camera system developed around Leica optics. The setup includes a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.

Moreover, the camera system includes laser autofocus, a color spectrum sensor, and dual-LED dual-tone flash. Users can record 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at up to 120fps. The phone also supports Dolby Vision HDR and 10-bit LOG recording.

For selfies, the device uses a 50MP front camera with autofocus. In addition, the front camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps and 60fps.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro provides stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For wireless connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. It also supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, and NavIC for positioning.

Additionally, the device includes NFC, an infrared port, and Ultra Wideband (UWB) support. Its USB Type-C 3.2 port also supports DisplayPort and OTG.

The phone includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display. Furthermore, Xiaomi adds an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and barometer.

The built-in UWB support adds another useful feature for compatible location and device-tracking functions.

Battery

The Xiaomi 18 Pro packs a large 7000 mAh battery. Therefore, it can provide extended usage for gaming, streaming, browsing, and everyday tasks.

It supports 100W wired charging, along with 100W PPS, PD 3.0, and QC 3+ compatibility. Moreover, the phone supports 50W wireless charging and 27W reverse wireless charging.
