The TCL P80 Ultra is an upcoming premium smartphone that combines a large AMOLED display, capable performance, versatile cameras, and stylus support. It targets users who want a feature-rich phone for entertainment, photography, productivity, and everyday tasks.
TCL announced the device on September 3, 2026, and expects to release it in September 2026. Therefore, it currently carries a “coming soon” status.
Design and Build
The TCL P80 Ultra features a sleek design with dimensions of 163.3 × 77.7 × 8.3 mm and a weight of 197 grams. As a result, it offers a good balance between a large display and comfortable handling.
It combines a glass front with a durable frame and supports Nano-SIM, Nano-SIM, and eSIM connectivity, with up to two SIMs active at once. In addition, IP68 protection helps the phone resist dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Moreover, the phone supports a stylus and meets MIL-STD-810H requirements. However, TCL notes that this standard does not guarantee protection against every extreme condition.
Display
The device features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1 billion colors and a 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore, users can enjoy smooth scrolling, fluid animations, and vibrant visuals.
Furthermore, the display supports HDR and reaches up to 3200 nits peak brightness. The 1280 × 2772-pixel resolution delivers around 447 PPI, so text, photos, and videos look sharp.

The TCL P80 Ultra runs Android 16 and promises up to four major Android OS updates. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite chipset, built on a 4nm process.
Additionally, its octa-core CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU provide balanced performance for everyday tasks, multitasking, and gaming. The phone comes with two storage configurations:
