Oukitel G5

Oukitel announced the Oukitel G5 in May 2025. Shortly after, the company released the device in the same month, making it immediately available for users who need a rugged smartphone.

Body

The Oukitel G5 comes with a solid and heavy-duty body measuring 166 × 81.1 × 15 mm and weighing 300 g. Although the phone feels bulky, it focuses on extreme durability. It supports dual Nano-SIM cards and meets IP68/IP69K standards. Moreover, the device resists drops up to 1.5 meters and complies with MIL-STD-810H certification. Additionally, a dedicated flood flashlight improves visibility during outdoor and emergency use.

Display

The phone features a 6.0-inch IPS LCD panel with 450 nits of brightness. As a result, the screen remains usable under direct sunlight. The 576 × 1152 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio deliver basic clarity, while the ~215 ppi density suits essential tasks. Furthermore, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and Mohs level 4 protection enhance scratch resistance.

Platform

Oukitel runs the G5 on Android 14, which ensures a smooth and modern software experience. Meanwhile, the Unisoc T310 chipset, built on a 12 nm process, handles daily tasks efficiently. Its quad-core CPU balances performance and power efficiency, while the PowerVR GE8300 GPU manages light graphics without difficulty.

Memory

The Oukitel G5 includes 64GB of internal storage paired with 4GB of RAM. In addition, users can expand storage via a microSDXC card, although it uses a shared SIM slot.

Main Camera

Oukitel equips the G5 with a 13MP wide rear camera featuring autofocus and LED flash. While the camera setup stays simple, it performs well for quick photos and documentation. Video recording support further improves usability.

Selfie Camera

On the front, a 5MP selfie camera handles video calls and casual selfies. It records videos at 720p@30fps, which fits everyday communication needs.

Sound

The device delivers audio through a loudspeaker that remains clear in noisy environments. Moreover, the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack allows users to enjoy wired audio without adapters.

Connectivity

The Oukitel G5 supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for stable wireless connections. It also includes GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and BDS for accurate navigation. Although NFC is absent, the built-in FM radio adds extra convenience. A USB Type-C 2.0 port handles charging and data transfer.

Features

Oukitel includes essential sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass. Therefore, the phone covers all basic functional requirements for outdoor use.

Battery

A large 6300 mAh Li-Po battery powers the Oukitel G5 throughout long workdays. Even though it supports 10W wired charging, the massive battery ensures extended usage between charges.
