OnePlus officially announced the OnePlus 15 on October 27, 2025. Shortly after, the company released the device on October 28, 2025. As a result, the smartphone is now available worldwide.
Body
The OnePlus 15 features a premium and durable design. It measures 161.4 × 76.7 × 8.1 mm and weighs either 211 g or 215 g, depending on the variant. The phone uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and an aluminum alloy frame. On the back, users can choose between Gorilla Glass 7i, Crystal Shield Glass, or a fiber-reinforced plastic finish.
Additionally, the device supports dual Nano-SIM or Nano-SIM + eSIM (maximum two active at a time). It also carries IP68 and IP69K ratings, which ensure strong resistance against dust and high-pressure water. Moreover, a Micro-Arc Oxidation ceramic-like coating enhances durability and grip.
Display
OnePlus equips the OnePlus 15 with a stunning 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It supports 1 billion colors, a 165Hz refresh rate, PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid. The display reaches 800 nits typically and up to 1800 nits in high brightness mode.
The resolution stands at 1272 × 2772 pixels with a sharp ~450 ppi density. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the panel, while Ultra HDR image support improves visual depth and contrast.
Platform
The OnePlus 15 runs on Android 16, paired with OxygenOS 16 globally and ColorOS 16 in China. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on an advanced 3 nm process.
The octa-core CPU includes two high-performance Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores clocked at 4.6 GHz and six Phoenix M cores at 3.62 GHz. Meanwhile, the Adreno 840 GPU delivers top-tier graphics performance for gaming and heavy workloads.
Memory
OnePlus offers multiple memory configurations for the OnePlus 15. These include:
256GB with 12GB RAM
256GB with 16GB RAM
512GB with 12GB RAM
512GB with 16GB RAM
1TB with 16GB RAM
All variants use ultra-fast UFS 4.1 storage. However, the device does not include a microSD card slot.
Main Camera
The OnePlus 15 features a powerful triple-camera system. The 50 MP primary sensor includes OIS and multi-directional PDAF for sharp and stable shots. Alongside it, the 50 MP periscope telephoto lens offers 3.5x optical zoom with OIS, while the 50 MP ultrawide camera captures a wide 116° field of view.
Camera features include laser autofocus, a color spectrum sensor, HDR, panorama, and LUT preview. For video, the phone supports up to 8K at 30fps, 4K at up to 120fps, Dolby Vision, Auto HDR, and gyro-EIS.
Selfie Camera
On the front, the OnePlus 15 houses a 32 MP autofocus selfie camera. It supports HDR, panorama, and high-quality video recording up to 4K at 60fps with gyro-EIS, making it ideal for video calls and content creation.
Sound
The device includes stereo speakers with 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio support. However, it does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Connectivity
The OnePlus 15 supports Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and advanced codecs such as aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LHDC 5. It also includes comprehensive global positioning systems, NFC, an infrared port, and a USB Type-C 3.2 port with OTG support.
Sensors
Security and navigation features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity sensor, UAV-grade gyroscope, compass, and barometer (excluding China).
Battery
The smartphone packs a massive 7300 mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and multiple fast-charging standards. OnePlus claims the phone can reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes and fully charge in about 40 minutes. Additionally, it supports reverse wired and wireless charging, as well as bypass charging for gaming.
