The Motorola Signature 27 is an upcoming flagship smartphone designed to deliver high-end performance, advanced cameras, and a premium multimedia experience. Motorola announced the device on September 22, 2026, and plans to release it in Q4 2026.
Design and Build
The Motorola Signature 27 features a premium design with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and an aluminum frame. The phone also supports dual Nano-SIM functionality.
Moreover, it carries IP68/IP69 protection against dust and water. The device also meets MIL-STD-810H requirements, although this rating does not guarantee protection against every extreme condition.
Display
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a fast 165Hz refresh rate. As a result, scrolling, animations, and gaming should feel exceptionally smooth.
It offers a 1264 × 2780 pixel resolution with around 449 PPI density. Furthermore, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 1 billion colors provide a rich and detailed viewing experience.
Performance and Software
The Motorola Signature 27 runs Android 17 and will receive up to seven major OS updates. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which Motorola pairs with an Adreno GPU for demanding tasks.
Additionally, the phone offers up to 1TB of internal storage and up to 16GB of RAM. The available configurations include 256GB/12GB RAM, 512GB/12GB RAM, 512GB/16GB RAM, and 1TB/16GB RAM. It also uses fast UFS 4.1 storage.
Camera
The Motorola Signature 27 features a versatile triple-camera system. It includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Therefore, users can capture detailed photos across different shooting conditions. The camera system also supports HDR, panorama, and dual-LED flash.
For video recording, the phone can capture 8K video at 30fps with Dolby Vision. Moreover, it supports 4K recording at up to 120fps and includes HDR10+, gyro-EIS, and OIS.
The front camera uses a 50MP sensor with dual-pixel autofocus. It can record 4K video at up to 60fps and also supports HDR.
Sound and Connectivity
The Motorola Signature 27 comes with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. In addition, it offers 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless audio with sound tuning by Bang & Olufsen.
However, the phone does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and multiple satellite navigation systems. Furthermore, the USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 port supports OTG and DisplayPort 1.4.

The smartphone includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display. It also provides an accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass.
Additionally, the Motorola Signature 27 supports Smart Connect and Ultra Wideband (UWB), adding useful features for connected devices and accessories.

The phone packs a 6000 mAh battery for extended daily use. Furthermore, it supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
It also supports 10W reverse wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging. Therefore, users can charge compatible devices directly from the smartphone when needed.
