Cubot X5

The Cubot X5 is a compact smartwatch designed for users who want essential health tracking, a sharp AMOLED display, and a long-lasting battery. It combines a lightweight design with practical features for everyday fitness and activity monitoring.

Cubot announced the smartwatch in August 2026 and released it during the same month. Therefore, the Cubot X5 is currently available.

Design and Build

The Cubot X5 features a compact body measuring 53.9 × 45.4 × 14.4 mm and weighs 84 grams. As a result, it offers a sturdy feel while remaining practical for daily wear.

Moreover, the watch provides 3ATM water resistance. This protection makes it suitable for everyday exposure to water, such as rain and splashes. The device comes in a Black color option.

Display

The smartwatch features a 2.13-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 × 502 pixels. Therefore, users can enjoy sharp visuals and vibrant colors.

Furthermore, the display provides around 304 PPI density, which keeps text, icons, and other on-screen elements clear. As a result, navigating the watch remains comfortable during everyday use.

Performance and Software

The Cubot X5 runs on a proprietary operating system designed for smartwatch functions. It does not include a microSD card slot, so users cannot expand its storage.

However, the simple operating system helps the watch focus on essential functions such as fitness tracking, notifications, and health monitoring.

Health and Fitness Features

The Cubot X5 includes several useful health sensors. It features an accelerometer, heart rate monitor, and SpO2 sensor.

As a result, users can monitor heart rate and blood oxygen levels while tracking daily movement. In addition, the accelerometer helps the watch monitor physical activity.

Sound and Connectivity

The smartwatch includes a built-in loudspeaker, which allows it to provide audible alerts and other supported audio functions. However, it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For wireless connectivity, the Cubot X5 supports Bluetooth 5.3 with A2DP and Low Energy support. Moreover, it does not include Wi-Fi, NFC, or a USB port.

Battery

One of the key highlights of the Cubot X5 is its 900 mAh battery. Therefore, the watch can provide dependable power for everyday tracking and smartwatch functions.

The large battery capacity should help users spend more time using the watch and less time charging it.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Cubot X5 offers a practical combination of a vibrant AMOLED display, useful health sensors, Bluetooth 5.3, and a large battery. In conclusion, it is a suitable choice for users who want a simple smartwatch focused on health tracking and everyday activity monitoring.
