The Lava Virat Curve is an upcoming smartphone that combines a curved AMOLED display, modern design, solid performance, and a large battery. It targets users who want a stylish device with useful everyday features and reliable performance.

Lava announced the phone on September 21, 2026, and expects to release it on September 28, 2026. Therefore, the device currently remains in the “coming soon” category.

Design and Build

The Lava Virat Curve features a slim design with dimensions of 162.3 × 73.5 × 8.6 mm and a weight of 184 grams. As a result, it should feel comfortable to hold while maintaining a solid build.

The phone supports dual Nano-SIM functionality. Moreover, it carries an IP64 rating, which protects it from dust and water splashes. It also meets the MIL-STD-810H standard, although this rating does not guarantee protection against extreme conditions.

In addition, the phone includes a rear mini display that adds an extra layer of functionality to its design.

Display

The device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with support for 1 billion colors and a 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore, users can enjoy smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming.

The display reaches up to 1100 nits peak brightness, which helps improve visibility outdoors. Furthermore, its 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution delivers sharp images with around 395 PPI density.

Performance and Software

The Lava Virat Curve runs on Android 16 and supports up to two major Android OS updates. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset built on a 6nm process.

Additionally, its octa-core CPU combines Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores for balanced performance. The Mali-G610 MC2 GPU handles graphics tasks such as gaming and video playback.

The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, it does not include a microSD card slot.

Camera

The Lava Virat Curve features a 50MP primary rear camera with PDAF. In addition, it includes LED flash, HDR, and panorama features.

The rear camera can record videos at up to 1440p at 30fps. On the front, the phone offers a 13MP selfie camera with support for 1440p and 1080p video recording. Therefore, it can handle everyday photography, video calls, and social media content.

Sound and Connectivity

The smartphone comes with stereo speakers that provide a more immersive audio experience. However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For wireless connectivity, the Lava Virat Curve supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. Moreover, it includes GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, and QZSS for accurate positioning.

The phone also features an infrared port and USB Type-C 3.2 with OTG support. However, it does not support NFC.

Features and Sensors

The device includes an under-display optical fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. Additionally, it features an accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass.

Therefore, the phone offers the essential sensors needed for everyday smartphone functions and navigation.

Battery

The Lava Virat Curve packs a 6000mAh Li-Po battery. As a result, users can expect long-lasting battery life for browsing, streaming, gaming, and daily communication.

It supports 45W wired charging. Furthermore, Lava claims that the battery can reach 50% in around 19 minutes and 100% in approximately 92 minutes.
