The Honor Pad 20 Pro is a premium Android tablet designed for entertainment, productivity, gaming, and creative tasks. It combines a large 165Hz display, powerful Snapdragon processor, stylus support, and a large battery for an all-day experience.

Honor announced the tablet on August 18, 2026, and released it on the same day. Therefore, the Honor Pad 20 Pro is currently available.

Design and Build

The Honor Pad 20 Pro features a sleek design with a glass front, aluminum frame, and aluminum back. It measures 277.1 × 179.3 × 6.3 mm and weighs 537 grams. As a result, the tablet remains remarkably thin despite its large display and battery.

Moreover, the tablet supports a stylus, making it useful for note-taking, drawing, studying, and productivity. It does not support a SIM card, so users need Wi-Fi for internet connectivity.

Display

The tablet features a large 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with 1 billion colors and a 165Hz refresh rate. Therefore, users can enjoy smooth scrolling, responsive animations, and fluid gaming.

In addition, the display supports HDR Vivid and reaches up to 700 nits brightness. The 1872 × 3000 pixel resolution provides sharp images with around 292 PPI density.

Furthermore, users can choose an optional Paperlike display for a more natural writing and reading experience. The tablet also supports IMAX Enhanced content for compatible entertainment.

Performance and Software

The Pad 20 Pro runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process.

Additionally, its octa-core CPU and Adreno 825 GPU provide strong performance for gaming, multitasking, video editing, and demanding applications. The tablet comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

However, it does not include a microSD card slot, so users cannot expand the internal storage.

Camera

The Honor Pad 20 Pro features a 13MP rear camera with autofocus. It supports 1080p video recording at 30fps, making it suitable for document scanning and casual photography.

On the front, the tablet includes an 8MP selfie camera. Therefore, it works well for video calls, online classes, and virtual meetings, with support for 1080p video recording.

Sound and Connectivity

The tablet offers an immersive audio experience through its six-speaker stereo system. As a result, movies, music, and games can deliver a richer and more spacious sound.

However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For wireless connectivity, the Honor Pad 20 Pro supports Wi-Fi 6/7 and Bluetooth 6.0. Moreover, Bluetooth supports advanced codecs and features such as aptX Lossless, LHDC 5, Auracast, and ASHA.

The tablet does not include GPS, NFC, or cellular connectivity. It uses USB Type-C for charging and wired connections.

Features and Sensors

The Honor Pad 20 Pro includes an accelerometer and gyro for motion detection and gaming. In addition, it has a proximity sensor designed for compatible accessories.

Therefore, the tablet provides the essential sensors needed for everyday interaction and supported accessories.

Battery

One of the biggest strengths of the Honor Pad 20 Pro is its large 10,100 mAh battery. As a result, users can enjoy extended sessions for streaming, gaming, studying, and productivity.

Moreover, the tablet supports 66W wired charging. It also supports reverse wired charging, allowing the tablet to provide power to compatible devices.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Honor Pad 20 Pro offers a strong combination of performance, display quality, audio, and battery life. Its 165Hz display and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset make it particularly appealing for demanding users.
