Honor Turbo

The Honor Turbo is a rumored smartphone that focuses on durability, a smooth AMOLED display, solid performance, and a large battery. Honor has not announced the device yet, so its official launch date remains unknown.

Design and Build

The Honor Turbo features a glass front with a plastic frame and plastic back. It measures 161.9 × 76.1 × 7.8 mm and weighs 196 grams. Therefore, the phone offers a relatively slim and manageable design.

Moreover, it supports dual Nano-SIM connectivity. The device also offers IP68/IP69K protection, which helps defend against dust and high-pressure water exposure. In addition, it can withstand drops from up to 2.5 meters.

Display

The phone features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As a result, users can enjoy smooth scrolling, animations, and gaming.

It provides a 1200 × 2640 pixel resolution with around 427 PPI density. Furthermore, the panel supports HDR and 3840Hz PWM dimming. The display can reach 1800 nits in HBM mode and up to 6000 nits at peak brightness, which helps improve outdoor visibility.

Performance and Software

The Honor Turbo runs on Android 16 with MagicOS 10. It uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, which Qualcomm builds on a 4nm process.

Additionally, the octa-core CPU and Adreno 810 GPU provide balanced performance for everyday apps, multitasking, and casual gaming. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, it does not include a microSD card slot.

Camera

The Honor Turbo features a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main camera with PDAF and OIS, along with a 5MP ultrawide camera.

Therefore, users can capture detailed photos and wider landscape shots. The rear camera also supports HDR, panorama, LED flash, and 4K video recording at 30fps.

For selfies, the phone uses a 16MP front camera with an f/2.5 aperture. In addition, it can record 1080p video at 30fps.
