Honor announced the Honor Play 60A on December 15, 2025. However, the brand plans to release the device later in December 2025. Therefore, users can expect its availability very soon.
Body
The Honor Play 60A measures 167 × 77 × 7.9 mm and weighs 186 g. As a result, the phone feels slim and lightweight in daily use. It supports dual Nano-SIM cards, which allows users to manage personal and work numbers easily. Moreover, the overall build focuses on comfort and practicality.
Display
The smartphone features a large 6.75-inch TFT LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Consequently, scrolling feels noticeably smoother than standard 60Hz panels. The HD+ resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels delivers decent clarity with a screen-to-body ratio of about 85.5%, making it suitable for videos, browsing, and social media.
Platform
Honor equips the Play 60A with Android 15 running on MagicOS 9. At the same time, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset ensures reliable everyday performance. Its octa-core CPU handles multitasking efficiently, while the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU supports casual gaming and media tasks smoothly.
Memory
The Honor Play 60A comes in two memory variants: 128GB with 4GB RAM and 128GB with 6GB RAM. Therefore, users get enough storage for apps, photos, and videos. However, the device does not support a memory card slot.
Main Camera
On the back, the phone features a 13MP wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. As a result, it captures clear photos in good lighting conditions. Additionally, the LED flash helps in low-light situations. The camera supports video recording at 1080p@30fps for sharp and stable footage.
Selfie Camera
The front houses a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Although simple, it delivers acceptable selfies for social media and video calls. It also supports 1080p video recording, which is useful for online meetings.
Sound
The Honor Play 60A includes a loudspeaker that produces clear audio. Moreover, it retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, which many users still prefer for wired headphones.
Connectivity
The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD. Therefore, wireless connectivity remains stable and efficient. It also offers comprehensive GPS positioning support. However, NFC and FM radio are not available. A USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG handles charging and data transfer.
Features
Honor includes essential sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass. As a result, the phone delivers a smooth and reliable everyday user experience.
Battery
The Honor Play 60A packs a 5300 mAh Li-Po battery. Consequently, it easily lasts a full day on a single charge. Furthermore, it supports 15W wired charging and 2.5W reverse wired charging, adding extra convenience.
