Moreover, the phone supports dual Nano-SIM functionality. International models also support eSIM, while the China version uses two Nano-SIM cards. In addition, IP68/IP69 protection helps the device resist dust, water, and high-pressure water jets.
Display
The smartphone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. As a result, scrolling, animations, and supported games can appear extremely smooth.
It offers a 1260 × 2750 pixel resolution with around 459 PPI density. Furthermore, HDR10+ support and 1 billion colors provide rich and detailed visuals. The display can reach 2000 nits HBM brightness and up to 4000 nits peak brightness, which helps improve outdoor visibility.
Performance and Software
The vivo X500 runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7. It also supports up to five major Android updates, which provides longer-term software support.
Under the hood, the phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chipset, built on a 3nm process. Additionally, its octa-core CPU and ARM G1-Ultra GPU deliver powerful performance for gaming, multitasking, and demanding applications.
The device comes with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. Each configuration includes 12GB RAM, while UFS 4.1 storage helps improve data access speeds.

For video recording, the main camera supports up to 8K at 30fps. It also supports 4K recording at up to 120fps and 10-bit Log recording, giving advanced users more flexibility for video production.
On the front, the phone offers a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. In addition, it can record 4K video at 30fps and 60fps.
Sound and Connectivity
The vivo X500 includes stereo speakers and supports 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio. However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 6/7, Bluetooth 5.4/6.0, NFC, and an infrared port. Furthermore, it supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, and NavIC for positioning.
The USB Type-C 3.2 port also supports OTG, allowing users to connect compatible external accessories.
