The vivo X500 Pro is an upcoming premium smartphone that combines a compact design, powerful performance, advanced cameras, and fast charging. vivo announced the device on September 21, 2026, and plans to release it on September 29, 2026. Therefore, the phone currently remains in the “coming soon” category.
Design and Build
The vivo X500 Pro features a premium design with a glass front and aluminum frame. Depending on the version, it also uses either a glass back or a glass-fiber reinforced plastic back.
The phone measures 151.8 × 71.9 × 8.1 mm and weighs between 192 and 197 grams. Moreover, it supports dual Nano-SIM cards, while the international version also adds eSIM support.
In addition, the device carries IP68/IP69 protection. As a result, it can resist dust, water, and high-pressure water jets.
Display
The smartphone features a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Therefore, users can enjoy smooth animations, responsive scrolling, and fluid gaming.
It offers a resolution of 1216 × 2660 pixels with around 459 PPI density. Furthermore, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Ultra HDR support enhance the viewing experience.
The display can reach 2000 nits in HBM mode and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. As a result, the screen should remain highly visible in bright environments.
Performance and Software
The vivo X500 Pro runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, which follows an advanced 2nm manufacturing process.
Additionally, the octa-core CPU and Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU provide powerful performance for gaming, multitasking, and demanding applications.
The phone comes with 12GB RAM and offers 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. Moreover, it uses fast UFS 4.1 storage, although it does not include a microSD card slot.
Camera
The vivo X500 Pro features a versatile triple-camera system. It combines a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Furthermore, the camera system includes Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, laser autofocus, and a color spectrum sensor. Therefore, users can capture detailed photos across different shooting conditions.
The phone supports advanced video recording as well. It can record up to 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at up to 240fps. In addition, it supports Dolby Vision HDR and 10-bit Log recording.
For selfies, the device includes a 50MP autofocus camera. Moreover, the front camera can record 4K video at up to 60fps.

The vivo X500 Pro features stereo speakers and supports 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio. However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 6/7, Bluetooth 5.4 or 6.0, and multiple satellite navigation systems. Besides that, it includes NFC, an infrared port, and USB Type-C 3.2 with OTG support.
