Samsung announced the device on October 1, 2026, and expects to release it in October 2026. Therefore, the phone currently carries a “coming soon” status.
Design and Build
The Samsung Galaxy F08 features a practical design with a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. It measures 167.4 × 77.4 × 8 mm and weighs 197 grams.
Moreover, the phone supports dual Nano-SIM functionality. It also offers IP64 protection against dust and water splashes, which adds extra protection for everyday use. Samsung plans to offer the device in Blue.
Display
The device features a large 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. As a result, scrolling and basic animations appear smoother than on a standard 60Hz screen.
It offers a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels with around 262 PPI density. Therefore, the display works well for browsing, social media, video streaming, and everyday smartphone tasks.
Performance and Software
The Samsung Galaxy F08 runs Android 17 with One UI 9. Samsung also promises up to six major OS updates, which can provide longer software support.
Under the hood, the phone uses the MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset built on a 6nm process. In addition, its octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU provide balanced performance for daily apps, browsing, and light gaming.
The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Furthermore, a dedicated microSDXC slot allows users to expand the storage when needed.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy F08 features a dual rear camera system led by a 50MP main sensor with PDAF. It also includes an auxiliary lens and LED flash for additional photography support.
The rear camera can record 1080p video at up to 60fps. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera handles video calls and casual selfies.
Sound and Connectivity
The phone includes a built-in loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Therefore, users can connect traditional wired headphones without an adapter.
For connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy F08 supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, it includes GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS for navigation. However, it does not support NFC.
The device also includes FM radio and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.
Features and Sensors
The Samsung Galaxy F08 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for convenient unlocking. In addition, it includes an accelerometer and proximity sensor for everyday functions.
Battery
The smartphone packs a large 6000 mAh battery. As a result, users can expect extended usage for browsing, streaming, calling, and social media.
It supports 25W wired charging, which provides a practical charging solution for the large battery.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy F08 offers a practical combination of a large 90Hz display, dependable everyday performance, extended software support, and a 6000 mAh battery.
