Realme C85 4G

Realme officially announced the Realme C85 4G on January 12, 2026. Shortly afterward, the company released the device on January 17, 2026. As a result, the smartphone is now available for purchase.

Design and Build

Realme designed the C85 4G with a bold and durable body. The phone measures 166.2 x 78 x 8.4 mm and weighs 215g, giving it a solid and rugged feel in hand. It supports dual Nano-SIM, which helps users manage work and personal numbers easily.

Moreover, the device comes with IP68/IP69K certification, so it resists dust, high-pressure water jets, and even immersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes. In addition, it meets MIL-STD-810H standards and features an RGB notification light on the back, adding both durability and visual flair. However, this certification does not guarantee protection in extreme environments.

Display

The Realme C85 4G features a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Consequently, scrolling and animations feel noticeably smoother than standard budget displays.

Furthermore, the screen reaches 1200 nits brightness (HBM), ensuring good visibility outdoors. Although the resolution is 720 x 1570 pixels (~254 PPI), the ~87.2% screen-to-body ratio still delivers an immersive viewing experience for daily use.

Performance and Software

Realme ships the C85 4G with Android 15 running on Realme UI 6.0, which offers a clean interface and modern features.

The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 (6nm) chipset, paired with the Adreno 610 GPU. As a result, it handles everyday tasks such as browsing, streaming, and social media smoothly. However, it targets casual users rather than heavy gamers.

Memory and Storage

The Realme C85 4G is available in 128GB with 6GB RAM, 128GB with 8GB RAM, and 256GB with 8GB RAM variants. This variety allows users to choose according to their storage and multitasking needs. However, Realme has not specified microSD card support.

Rear Camera

On the back, the Realme C85 4G features a 50MP single rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. It captures sharp photos in daylight and performs reliably for everyday photography.

Additionally, the camera supports HDR, panorama, and LED flash. For video, it records at 1080p at 30fps and 60fps, which is impressive for this segment.

Front Camera

The front houses an 8MP wide selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It delivers decent selfies and supports panorama mode. Moreover, it records 1080p video at 30fps and 60fps, making it suitable for video calls and short content creation.

Audio and Connectivity

Realme equips the C85 4G with a standard loudspeaker but removes the 3.5mm headphone jack, encouraging wireless or USB-C audio solutions.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS, and BDS, and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. However, the device does not support NFC.

The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which unlocks quickly and reliably. Additionally, it features an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass, ensuring smooth daily usability.

Battery and Charging

One of the biggest highlights of the Realme C85 4G is its massive 7000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery. As a result, users can easily get extended usage across multiple days.

Moreover, the device supports 45W fast wired charging, reverse wired charging, and bypass charging, which helps reduce heat during gaming or heavy usage.
