The Oukitel WP63 is an upcoming rugged smartphone designed for users who need extreme durability, massive battery life, and practical outdoor features. It combines military-grade protection with a large battery, night vision camera, and useful tools for demanding environments.
Oukitel announced the device in September 2026, and it is expected to launch during the same month. Therefore, it is currently listed as “coming soon.”
Design and Build
The Oukitel WP63 features a highly rugged design with dimensions of 174.7 × 83 × 27 mm and a weight of 629 grams. As a result, it is considerably thicker and heavier than a standard smartphone.
It supports Nano-SIM, Nano-SIM, and eSIM, although users can activate a maximum of two SIMs at the same time. Moreover, IP68/IP69K certification protects the phone against dust, water, and high-pressure water jets.
In addition, the device can handle drops from up to 1.5 meters and meets the MIL-STD-810H standard. It also includes a dedicated flood flashlight and a built-in igniter, making it especially useful for outdoor activities.
Display
The device features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore, users can enjoy smoother scrolling and more responsive animations.
The screen offers 480 nits brightness and a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels. Furthermore, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display against everyday scratches and impacts.
Performance and Software
The Oukitel WP63 runs on Android 16 and uses the Unisoc T8200 chipset built on a 6nm process.
Its octa-core CPU combines Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores, while the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU handles graphics. As a result, the phone can manage everyday apps, multitasking, navigation, and light gaming.
The device comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Additionally, users can expand the storage through a microSDXC card, although the card shares the SIM slot.
Camera
The Oukitel WP63 features a dual rear camera system. It includes a 64MP main camera with autofocus and an 8MP night vision camera.
Moreover, the night vision camera uses four infrared lights, which helps users capture images in dark environments. The main camera also supports LED flash, HDR, and panorama features.
For selfies, the phone offers a 20MP front camera. Therefore, it can handle video calls and everyday photography needs.
Sound and Connectivity
The smartphone includes a powerful 3W loudspeaker. However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For connectivity, the Oukitel WP63 supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. It also provides GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and BDS positioning. In addition, NFC and FM radio add extra convenience for daily use.
Features and Sensors
The device includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. Furthermore, it provides an accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass.
Because of its rugged construction and outdoor-focused features, the phone can suit hiking, camping, construction, travel, and other demanding environments.
Battery
One of the biggest highlights of the Oukitel WP63 is its massive 20,000 mAh Li-Po battery. Therefore, it can provide exceptionally long usage compared with conventional smartphones.
It supports 33W wired charging and can reach 50% charge in around 97 minutes. Moreover, reverse wired charging allows the phone to power other compatible devices.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Oukitel WP63 focuses heavily on durability, battery endurance, and outdoor functionality. It combines rugged protection, a 120Hz display, night vision photography, and a huge 20,000 mAh battery.
