Motorola announced the Moto G57 on November 5, 2025, and the phone will arrive in the same month. It targets users who want durability, smooth performance, and long battery life without paying flagship prices. Because of its rugged build, clean Android 16 experience, and 120Hz display, it stands out as a practical mid-range option.
Design and Durability
The Moto G57 features a Gorilla Glass 7i front, plastic frame, and eco-leather silicone polymer back. It offers IP64 protection, so the phone can block dust and handle light water splashes. Motorola also designed it to meet MIL-STD-810H standards, meaning it can survive drops from up to 1.2 meters. However, the company does not rate it for extreme conditions.
Motorola has not yet confirmed the dimensions and weight.
Display
The phone includes a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it reaches 1050 nits of peak brightness, which improves outdoor visibility. The screen stays protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, so small impacts and scratches become less of a concern.
Performance
The device runs Android 16 with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset (4 nm). The octa-core CPU (4× Cortex-A78 + 4× Cortex-A55) and Adreno GPU work together to deliver efficient performance. As a result, you can multitask, browse, or stream without lag. It comes in two variants:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
Since the Moto G57 does not include a microSD slot, users must rely on internal storage.
Camera System
- 50 MP wide (f/1.8, PDAF)
- 8 MP ultrawide (120°)
The camera supports HDR, panorama, and LED flash. It also records 1440p and 1080p videos at 30fps with good clarity.
Selfie Camera
The 8 MP front camera captures HDR selfies and shoots 1440p and 1080p video at 30fps. These features allow smoother video calls and social content.
Audio and Connectivity
The phone includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and unlike many modern phones, it also keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack. Audiophiles will appreciate the 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio support.
For connectivity, it provides:
- Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
- Bluetooth 5.1
- GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS
- NFC (in selected regions)
- USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG support
Sensors and Extra Features
The Moto G57 includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass. Radio support is not confirmed.
Battery
A 5200 mAh battery powers the phone. Because of its efficient chipset and lightweight software, the device should easily last all day. Motorola has not yet revealed the charging speed.
Available Colors
Motorola offers four Pantone-certified finishes:
- Fluidity
- Pink Lemonade
- Corsair
- Regatta
Final Thoughts
The Motorola Moto G57 delivers a balanced mix of durability, smooth software, long battery life, and stereo audio. Since it includes Android 16, a 120Hz display, and Pantone color options, it becomes a compelling choice for students, travelers, and everyday users who want value and reliability.
