The Infinix Note 60 Ultra arrives as one of the most powerful models in the Note series, combining flagship-level performance, a premium display, and a massive battery. The device focuses on gaming performance, advanced photography, and long battery life while maintaining a sleek design.
Infinix officially announced the Note 60 Ultra on March 4, 2026, and the phone is expected to release in Q2 2026. It runs Android 16 with XOS 16 and the company promises up to three major Android upgrades, which improves long-term software support.
Design and Build Quality
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra features a modern and durable design. It measures 162.3 × 77.2 × 7.9 mm and weighs 220 grams, giving it a solid yet relatively slim profile for a large-battery device.
The phone uses a glass front protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and a strong aluminum frame. In addition, the camera island is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus, which adds extra durability. The device also comes with IP64 protection, meaning it can resist dust and light water splashes.
Another unique highlight is the active matrix display on the back, which adds visual effects and useful notifications. The phone supports Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM + eSIM, although only two connections can be active at the same time.
Display
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra offers an impressive display designed for smooth performance and bright visuals. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 1208 × 2644 resolution and about 429 ppi pixel density.
The display supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which delivers extremely smooth scrolling, gaming, and animations. Furthermore, it includes 2304Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort during low brightness usage.
Brightness levels are also impressive. The screen reaches 700 nits typical brightness, 1600 nits high brightness mode, and up to 4500 nits peak brightness, making it very visible even in bright sunlight. The display also supports Ultra HDR, which enhances color and contrast in supported content.
Performance and Software
Powering the Infinix Note 60 Ultra is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate (4 nm) chipset. This modern processor uses an advanced architecture with Cortex-A725 cores, delivering strong performance for gaming, multitasking, and heavy applications.
The processor includes one core at 3.25 GHz, three cores at 3.0 GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.1 GHz. Meanwhile, the Mali-G720 MC7 GPU handles graphics processing, making the device suitable for demanding games and graphics-intensive apps.
The phone offers 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB internal storage, providing plenty of space for apps, videos, and photos. However, there is no microSD card slot, so storage cannot be expanded.
Camera System
Photography is one of the biggest strengths of the Infinix Note 60 Ultra. The phone features a triple-camera setup designed for versatile shooting.
The primary camera uses a 200 MP sensor with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor size and optical image stabilization (OIS). As a result, users can capture detailed photos even in challenging lighting conditions.
In addition, the device includes a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5× optical zoom and OIS, allowing users to capture distant subjects clearly. The third camera is an 8 MP ultrawide lens with a 112° field of view, which is ideal for landscapes and group photos.
For video recording, the phone supports 4K recording at 30 or 60 fps, as well as 1080p recording up to 120 fps. It also includes gyro-EIS, OIS, and HDR10+ video support, ensuring stable and high-quality footage.
Selfie Camera
On the front, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra features a 32 MP selfie camera with a wide lens. This camera supports 4K video recording at 30 fps and 1080p at up to 60 fps, which makes it suitable for video calls, vlogging, and social media content creation.
Audio and Multimedia
The phone delivers a premium audio experience thanks to its stereo speakers tuned by JBL. This tuning improves sound clarity and bass for music, movies, and gaming.
The device supports 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio and Hi-Res wireless audio, offering high-quality sound for compatible headphones. However, the 3.5mm headphone jack is not included, so users will need wireless headphones or a USB-C adapter.
Connectivity and Special Features
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra includes modern connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and an infrared port for controlling compatible home devices.
One of the most unique features is two-way satellite communication, provided through Space42’s Thuraya service. With a compatible SIM and subscription plan, users can communicate through satellites in areas without cellular coverage.
The phone also includes several advanced sensors such as an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor, and SpO₂ sensor.
Battery and Charging
Battery life is another major highlight of the Infinix Note 60 Ultra. The phone packs a large 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which should easily last through heavy daily usage.
Charging is extremely fast thanks to 100W wired charging, which can reach 50% in about 18 minutes and 100% in roughly 48 minutes. The phone also supports 50W wireless charging.
Additional features include 7.5W reverse wired charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, allowing the phone to charge other devices. The bypass charging feature is particularly useful for gaming because it powers the device directly without stressing the battery.
Final Thoughts
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra stands out as a feature-packed flagship smartphone. With its 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, powerful 200MP camera, satellite communication, and massive 7000 mAh battery, the device targets users who want top-tier performance and advanced technology.
