The Huawei Mate X7 arrives as a premium foldable designed for power users. It features aerospace-grade aluminum and a tough eco-leather or nylon fiber back. Since it carries an IP58/IP59 rating, the device stands strong against dust, high-pressure water jets, and even 2-meter submersion for 30 minutes. Although it weighs only 235g, it still feels solid in both folded and unfolded modes.
Display: Dual OLED Panels with Massive Brightness
The device offers an 8-inch LTPO OLED foldable display with 1B colors, HDR Vivid, and 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to 2500 nits peak brightness, the screen stays visible even outdoors. Additionally, the 6.49-inch cover display includes LTPO OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, and a higher 3000 nits peak. Huawei also uses Kunlun Glass 2 for extra drop protection.
Performance: Kirin Power with HarmonyOS 6.0
Powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro, the Huawei Mate X7 delivers fast performance for multitasking, gaming, and foldable UI transitions. Because it runs HarmonyOS 6.0, the interface feels smooth and efficient. Animations, multitasking windows, and split-view modes respond instantly.

All variants use UFS storage, which loads apps quickly. Although the phone has no card slot, the higher storage models easily satisfy users with heavy content needs.
Main Camera: Advanced Triple Setup
The 50MP main camera adjusts from f/1.4 to f/4.0, enabling great low-light and daylight performance. Moreover, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens provides 3.5x optical zoom with OIS. The 40MP ultrawide camera enhances landscapes with its 120° field of view. Sensor size varies depending on RAM and storage, giving better results in high-end models. With 4K video, HDR Vivid, gyro-EIS, and OIS, the Mate X7 captures smooth footage.
Selfie and Cover Cameras
The front has an 8MP wide-angle selfie camera, while the cover screen carries another 8MP wide camera. Both support HDR and 4K video, which helps vloggers create high-quality content in both folded and unfolded modes.
Sound and Connectivity
The phone includes stereo speakers for immersive sound. Although it lacks a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 6.0 ensures stable wireless audio. Additionally, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an infrared port, advanced GPS bands, and NavIC support improve connectivity and navigation accuracy.
Battery and Fast Charging
The 5525mAh battery keeps the device powered throughout the day. Even better, it supports 66W wired charging, 50W wireless, 7.5W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired. Therefore, users enjoy fast charging in multiple modes.
