The Acer Iconia X12 is a premium Android tablet announced on September 3, 2025. It became available in November 2025. This tablet focuses on productivity, entertainment, and creative tasks. Moreover, its AMOLED display and stylus support make it ideal for note-taking and media consumption.
Design and Build
The Acer Iconia X12 features a glass front and aluminum alloy frame, giving it a slim and modern appearance. In addition, it supports stylus input, which improves productivity and creativity. The tablet measures 286.2 x 184.4 x 6.5 mm and weighs 500 g, so it feels lightweight and portable. However, it does not include SIM card support.
Display
The device sports a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with 400 nits brightness. It offers a 1600 x 2560 pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, resulting in sharp visuals at around 240 ppi density. Furthermore, the screen achieves an 87.2% screen-to-body ratio, which enhances immersion. The display also features Mohs level 4 protection for added durability.
The Acer Iconia X12 runs on the Mediatek Helio G99 (6 nm) chipset. It uses an octa-core CPU (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Additionally, it operates on Android 15, ensuring access to modern apps and features. The tablet includes 256GB storage with 8GB RAM and supports a dedicated microSDXC slot for expansion. It also uses UFS storage, which improves data speeds.
Camera System
The tablet includes a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. It records video at 1080p@30fps, which suits casual photography and video capture. On the front, a 5 MP selfie camera handles video calls and online meetings.
Audio and Connectivity
The Acer Iconia X12 delivers immersive sound through quad stereo speakers (4 speakers). Moreover, it retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, offering flexible audio options.
