Apple announced the smartwatch on September 9, 2026, and it is expected to launch on September 18, 2026. Therefore, the device currently remains in the “coming soon” category.
Design and Build
The Apple Watch Series 12 comes in titanium and ceramic case options. The titanium models measure 46 × 40 × 9.7 mm, while the ceramic versions measure 47 × 41 × 9.9 mm.
In addition, the watch uses a sapphire crystal front and offers IP6X dust resistance. It also provides 50-meter water resistance and includes a depth gauge that works down to 6 meters. As a result, the watch can handle a wide range of everyday activities.
Display
The smartwatch features a 1.96-inch Retina LTPO3 OLED display with a wide-angle OLED design. It offers a resolution of 496 × 416 pixels and around 326 PPI density.
Moreover, the display can reach up to 2000 nits peak brightness. Therefore, users can view notifications, workout information, and other content clearly in bright outdoor conditions.
Performance and Software
The Apple Watch Series 12 runs on watchOS 27 and uses the Apple S11 chipset with a dual-core CPU and PowerVR GPU.
It also includes 64GB of internal storage. As a result, users have plenty of space for apps, music, media, and other smartwatch content.
Health and Fitness Features
