Design and Build
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a premium foldable design with an aluminum frame and glass materials. When unfolded, it measures 155.2 × 150.4 × 5 mm. When folded, it measures 155.2 × 76 × 10.1 mm and weighs 239 grams.
Moreover, the phone uses Nano-SIM and eSIM support. It also carries an IP68 rating, so it can resist dust and water immersion. In addition, the device comes in Obsidian and Olive color options.
Display
The main highlight of the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is its 8-inch foldable LTPO OLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and impressive brightness levels of up to 3600 nits peak.
The inner screen offers a 2076 × 2152 pixel resolution with a 1:1 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the phone includes a 6.5-inch cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 × 2342 pixel resolution. As a result, users can enjoy a smooth experience whether the phone stays folded or fully opens.
Performance and Software
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold runs Android 17 and supports up to seven major OS updates. Therefore, users can expect long-term software support.
Google powers the phone with its Tensor G6 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The 7-core processor works alongside the PowerVR C-Series GPU to provide strong performance for apps, multitasking, photography, and demanding workloads.
The device offers 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. Each configuration includes 16GB of RAM. However, the phone does not provide a microSD card slot.
Camera
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a triple rear camera system. It combines a 48MP main camera with OIS, a 10.8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 10.5MP ultrawide camera with a 127-degree field of view.
Additionally, Google includes advanced camera features such as Ultra HDR, Pixel Shift, Best Take, Zoom Enhance, and Multi-zone Laser AF. The rear camera can record 4K video at up to 60fps and supports 10-bit HDR.
For selfies, the phone includes a 10MP front camera. The cover display also gets a 10MP camera. Moreover, both cameras support 4K video recording at up to 60fps.
Sound and Connectivity
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold delivers stereo sound through its built-in speakers. However, it does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For wireless connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and multiple satellite positioning systems. In addition, it includes Ultra Wideband (UWB) support and a Satellite SOS service.
The USB Type-C 3.2 port handles charging and data connections.
Features and Sensors
The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. Furthermore, it provides an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and barometer.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold also supports UWB technology, which can improve device tracking and nearby-device interactions.
Battery
The device packs a 4806 mAh battery. It supports 30W wired charging and can reach 50% charge in around 30 minutes under the specified charging conditions.
Moreover, the phone supports 25W magnetic wireless charging with Qi2.2. It also includes bypass charging, which can help manage power during extended use.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold combines a large foldable display, Tensor G6 performance, versatile cameras, and long-term Android support. In addition, its high brightness, advanced connectivity, and wireless charging make it a feature-rich foldable smartphone.
