The Oukitel WP500 is a rugged flagship smartphone designed for extreme durability, massive battery life, and powerful performance. It targets outdoor users, workers, and adventurers who need a tough and reliable device.
The company announced it in March 2026 and officially released it in June 2026. Therefore, it is already available in the market.
Design and Build
The Oukitel WP500 features a heavy-duty rugged design. It measures 177.2 × 82.6 × 18.8 mm and weighs 407 grams. As a result, it feels bulky but extremely solid.
Moreover, it supports dual Nano-SIM functionality. It comes with IP68/IP69K certification, so it resists dust, water, and high-pressure jets. In addition, it is drop-resistant up to 1.5 meters and meets MIL-STD-810H standards.
Another standout feature is the dedicated flood flashlight, which adds practical value for outdoor and emergency situations.
Display
The device includes a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore, it offers smooth scrolling and decent visual performance.
It provides a resolution of 1080 × 2460 pixels with around 395 PPI density. Furthermore, the screen reaches up to 550 nits brightness, making it usable in outdoor conditions.
For protection, it uses BOE glass or Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with Mohs level 7 hardness. As a result, the display can handle rough usage.
Performance and Software
The Oukitel WP500 runs on Android 16 and uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset built on a 4nm process.
Additionally, the octa-core CPU and Mali-G615 MC6 GPU deliver strong performance. Whether you multitask or play demanding games, the device handles tasks efficiently.
It comes with a massive 12GB RAM and 1TB internal storage using UFS 4.0. However, it does not support expandable storage.
Camera
The Oukitel WP500 features a versatile triple camera setup. It includes a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP night vision camera with infrared lights, and a 2MP macro lens.
As a result, users can capture detailed photos in both daylight and low-light conditions. The night vision camera is especially useful in complete darkness.
On the front, it offers a 32MP selfie camera. Moreover, both cameras support up to 4K video recording for high-quality footage.
Sound and Connectivity
The device includes a loudspeaker for audio output. However, it does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple positioning systems such as GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS. Besides that, it includes NFC for contactless features.
Features and Sensors
The Oukitel WP500 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. Furthermore, it includes essential sensors like an accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass.
Battery
One of the biggest highlights of the Oukitel WP500 is its massive 10,000 mAh battery. Therefore, it easily delivers multiple days of usage on a single charge.
It supports 45W wired charging. In addition, it includes reverse wired charging, so you can use it to power other devices.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Oukitel WP500 is a powerful rugged smartphone built for durability and endurance. It combines a strong build, high performance, night vision camera, and huge battery.
