The vivo Y21d is a mid-range smartphone launched on October 11, 2025. It is designed to deliver reliable performance, a large display, and a long-lasting battery. Moreover, it provides durability for daily use thanks to its water and dust resistance.

Design and Build

The Y21d features a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame, combining a sleek look with lightweight durability. Additionally, it supports IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, capable of withstanding high-pressure water jets and immersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes. It also meets MIL-STD-810H standards, although this does not guarantee ruggedness under extreme conditions. The device measures 166.1 x 77 x 8.4 mm and weighs 209 g, ensuring a solid feel in hand.

Display

The phone sports a 6.68-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness (HBM). It has a resolution of 720 x 1608 pixels (~264 ppi) and a 20:9 aspect ratio, offering clear visuals for browsing, videos, and casual gaming. Users can choose from multiple storage options: 128GB with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM, and 256GB with 6GB RAM, all using eMMC 5.1. Furthermore, it supports a dedicated microSDXC card slot for expanded storage.

Camera System

The Y21d has a single 50 MP rear camera with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture. It also includes a Ring-LED flash and supports panorama photography. Video recording is available at 1080p@30fps. On the front, there is a 5 MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording video.
