The Doogee Blade 20 Max is a powerhouse rugged smartphone built for extreme environments and heavy users. With a massive 11800 mAh silicon-carbon battery, 1TB storage, and a 120Hz display, it stands out as one of the most advanced devices in Doogee’s rugged lineup.
Launch and availability
Doogee officially announced the Doogee Blade 20 Max on August 07, 2025, and it was released the same day. Therefore, the device is currently available in global markets.
Rugged design and durability
The Doogee Blade 20 Max measures 174 × 81.2 × 15.8 mm and weighs 337 g, making it slightly lighter than the Blade 20 Pro despite similar dimensions.
It features:
- IP68/IP69K certification (dustproof and resistant to high-pressure water jets)
- MIL-STD-810H compliance for improved drop and shock resistance
- Mohs level 6 display protection for better scratch resistance
As a result, the phone is ideal for construction sites, industrial work, camping, and extreme outdoor use.
Display
The Blade 20 Max upgrades the screen with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. Consequently, scrolling, animations, and gaming feel noticeably smoother compared to 90Hz models.
Its 720 × 1612 resolution helps conserve battery life while maintaining decent clarity for everyday use.
Performance and chipset
Unlike earlier Blade models, the Blade 20 Max runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 (6 nm) chipset. This processor includes:
- 2× Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz
- 6× Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz
Combined with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, the phone delivers stronger performance for multitasking and gaming compared to Unisoc-powered variants.
The device offers a massive 12GB RAM and 1TB internal storage configuration. Additionally, a dedicated microSDXC slot allows further expansion.
Software
The Doogee Blade 20 Max ships with Android 15, offering updated security features, improved privacy controls, and system optimizations.
Camera system
The phone features a capable dual-camera setup:
- 64 MP wide camera (f/1.8, PDAF)
- 20 MP night vision camera (f/1.8)
The upgraded main sensor improves detail and dynamic range, while the night vision lens enhances low-light visibility.
Video recording supports 1440p at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps. On the front, a 16 MP selfie camera records at 1080p, offering better quality than previous Blade models.
Audio and connectivity
The Doogee Blade 20 Max includes a loudspeaker but omits the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Connectivity features include:
- Dual-band Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 5.2
- GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO
- NFC support
- FM radio
- USB Type-C
A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, along with accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors, enhances usability and security.
Massive Si/C battery and fast charging
One of the biggest highlights is the 11800 mAh Si/C (Silicon-Carbon) Li-Ion battery. Silicon-carbon technology improves energy density and efficiency compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries.
Charging speed increases to 33W wired, which is a noticeable upgrade over the 18W charging found in other Blade models.
Colors
The Doogee Blade 20 Max is available in:
- Red
- Green
- Natural Color
Verdict
The Doogee Blade 20 Max is the most powerful and feature-rich model in the Blade 20 series. With a 120Hz display, Helio G100 chipset, 1TB storage, 11800 mAh Si/C battery, and 33W fast charging, it targets power users who need extreme durability and long-lasting performance.
